TR2100 Kevlar Packing With PTFE

It is a braided packing made of Kevlar yarns impregnated with P.T.F.E. dispersion and treated with lubricant.This packing can bear higher-pressure applications than other types of braided packing. Due to its steel-like strength, this yarn can be employed separately or as back-up rings with other types of packing.This packing has been developed to replace asbestos packing for pump systems.It covers all the service ranges which asbestos packing provide and even much better.It affords longer service lift under severe conditions which conventional asbestos packing can not provide satisfaction, such as sand slurry,tin mining, paper slurry, feed water pump of power stations, etc.

APPLICATION:It is a universal packing which can be used for pumps in all types of industry such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and sugar industries, pulp and paper mills, power stations etc. It is also a durable packing able to withstand granular and abrasive applications, it is recommended for serve in superheated steam, solvents, liquefied gases, sugar syrups and other abrasive fluids. For hot water applications it can be used un-cooled up to 160°C. It can be used as stand-alone packing also combined with others as anti-extrusion ring.
